UKC Events

Rappahannock Racing Dogs is the exclusive provider of equipment, lure operators, and judges for the Rappahannock Hound and Performance Club, a UKC licensed club for holding precision coursing events. We love UKC precision coursing events and so do our dogs! We have the expertise and know how to make your event a success.

Whether you want to have Precision Coursing, DASH, or a Steeplechase event, we have the equipment and ability to hold one or all three of these fun events at your location or facility. By partnering with us you can add one more element to your Total Dog offerings that will draw people in to your event and increase your clubs profitibility.

If your club is new to UKC precision coursing events, we also offer opportunities for lure operator training, judge training, and apprenticeship opportunites.

Turn Key

Your club partners with Rappahannock Hound and Performance Club and Rappahannock Racing Dogs to run a precision coursing trial for you.
RRD provides all equipment and set up.
RRD provides UKC certified lure operators and judges
RRD provides awards for all participants earning qualifying scores, as well as new title rosettes for those earning titles at the event.
No club volunteers are needed and the club receives a portion of the event registration after expenses and UKC fees.
RRD will be responsible for the registration and reporting of scores to UKC. We use EagerDog as our preferred registration partner.

Combo Event

Your club partners with Rappahannock Hound and Performance Club and Rappahannock Racing Dogs to run a precision coursing trial for you.
RRD provides all equipment and you provide volunteers to uload, set up, pack up and run the event.
RRD provides UKC certified lure operators and judges
Your club provides awards for all participants earning qualifying scores, as well as new title rosettes for those earning titles at the event.
RRD can provide apprenticeship opportunities for your club members wishing to become licensed UKC lure operators.
Some club volunteers are needed (minimum of 4) and the club receives a greater portion of the event registration after expenses and UKC fees.
RRD will be responsible for the registration and reporting of scores to UKC. We use EagerDog as our preferred registration partner.

Facilitated Event

Your club must be a licensed UKC precision coursing club in provisional status minimally. We can help you get there.
Your club is completely responsible for the set up, tear down, registration, reporting, and running of the event. All set up and tear down is under the supervision of RRD staff.
RRD provides all equipment needed for the event.
RRD provides UKC licensed lure operators and judges for the event. They will not set up or take down, but will supervise your volunteers.
Your club provides all awards for dogs competing and qualifying during the event.
Your club is completely responsible for the event and the club receives a portion of the event registration after expenses and UKC fees. This offers the greatest profit margin for the club.
Your club is completely responsile for reporting the results as well as registration for the event. If you wish you can hire RRD to be your show secretary. We use EagerDog as our preferred registration partner.
