We LOVE Hounds!

The United Kennel Club recognizes 89 different Scenthound breeds and 25 different Sighthound breeds.  That is 114 different and unique hounds and we love each and every one of them.  The hound is an exceptional breed that comes in many different shapes and sizes as well as being bred for many different functions.

The Rappahannock Hound and Performance club is dedicated to showcasing these amazing animals and offering them unique opportunities to showcase their special abilities.

Our Events

The Rappahannock Hound and Performance Club is a member club of the United Kennel Club.  We are licensed to hold Conformation, Precision Coursing, DASH, and Steeplechase events.  In years to come we plan on adding Obedience, Rally, Nosework, SPOT, and other events that are enjoyed by our Hounds.  We believe in the mission of UKC in promoting events for dogs and owners that do more together.
